Our mission for Above Rubies Dance Team is to Encourage young girls from the ages of 9yrs old to 18yrs old to go after their dreams. We inspire them to keep going and never give up when times get hard. Dancers at Above Rubies learn different genres of dances like for instance! hip hop, ballet, majorette, contemporary, etc. We provide a positive atmosphere for dancers to Flourish in and a free zone environment to be themselves.

About Us
We perform at Miami Heat Arena during prime time, We also perform on major platforms. We opened up for The Taylor Girls, and Above Rubies was nominated for best dance team in 2016 December 29th. We are also involved in our community, we go on field trips, and also participate in life lessons In Our meetings.

Director Coach Tia/CEO Of Above Rubies Corporation
Shartia Caldwell AKA Coach Tia was born November 16, 1989. Coach Tia danced all her life, she even danced in her mother’s womb. Tia was a troubled teen who didn’t have the support system to teach her the right way or give her sound advice as a young lady. Tia had her struggles and dealt with them at that time the way it needed to be, and she also took accountability for her choices to make her the woman she is today. Now Coach Tia is the CEO of Above Rubies Dance Team teaching young girls to become a success story, who’s on the same similar path she was on, by helping to develop a stronger mindset for the betterment for them. Tia has over 12yrs of experience of dancing and developing young girls.
